The Greater Poweshiek Community Foundation (GPCF) will host its third annual spring charity fundraiser on May 10th, 2014 at the Quad Dining Hall on the Grinnell College campus. The event, “Celebrating 25 Years of Growing and Giving,” will celebrate spring, community, and GPCF’s silver anniversary. Guests will enjoy beverages, hors d’oeuvres and live music. There will be both live and silent auctions, and the evening will culminate with a lucky person winning as much as $25,000 in a 50/50 raffle drawing.
Raffle tickets are $100 each, and no more than 500 will be sold. Each raffle ticket also includes one entry into the event. Additional individual event tickets can be purchased for $25. Winner need not be present to win. All funds raised will support the good work and initiatives of GPCF.

GPCF in collaboration with the Claude W. & Dolly Ahrens Foundation provides services to many nonprofits organizations including fund management, donor education, marketing, and administrative support. The organizations that we have partnered with include Big Hearts For Tiny Hands, Communities for Literate Iowa Kids; Community Education Council; Grinnell Area Arts Council; Grinnell High School Alumni Association; Grinnell Historical Museum; Grinnell Newburg Dollars for Scholars; Grinnell Newburg Education Excellence; Grinnell Regional Medical Center; Imagine Grinnell; Iowa Transportation Museum; JMP Early Childhood Iowa Action, Kids Against Hunger; Lutheran Services in Iowa, the Mayflower Community, and Poweshiek County Alliance.
